I have a special place in my heart for lighthouses. It's also the same one the that Jackie Kennedy saw growing up in Newport and had a play lighthouse in her yard like this one!

Tip: Bring a tripod
Details: We stopped here on a Friday afternoon with no real expectations. The drive here from Newport was quick but very scenic. The hotel itself was a bit of a let down as we were expecting a much larger building for price but that's not what we were here...

This lighthouse is a short walk from Castle Hill's main house. It's worth the stroll and I can imagine be enjoyed year round. I visited in December and it was lovely. I can't wait to see it in the Summer months. I find this lighthouse to be a very well known one. Most people I know have heard about it...

the lighthouse is set on the side of a hill. It was a bit hard to get to walking but very scenic. It is off ocean Dr. which is a nust see also. On the property is the CastleHill Inn a beautiful place for weddings and such . We took pictures and often look back at what a nice day...

Beautiful setting on the bay. Go at sunset for the best view. Just a short walk from the hotel, but the walk is gorgeous, and the views are spectacular.

This very photogenic lighthouse sits atop a very easy to access granite cliff overlooking Narragansett Bay in Newport Rhode Island. A very nice place for sunset photos. There is a path off the parking lot of the Castle Hill Inn. You can walk down the path to the lighthouse. It is an awesome spot to watch the boats on the bay.

If your looking for a spectacular Sunset, visit Castle Hill Lighthouse, sit on the lawn enjoying a drink and watching the sun go down with the Newport Bridge in the background.
