What a lovely, local area. Independent shops and inviting restaurants. Beautiful park area crosses the intersection so you can sit out in the good weather and enjoy all the chocolates you have just bought at the shops.

It wasn't the cleanest strip or have a lot of options to choose from. It was a mix of a college and tourist area which could have some potential. Definitely need a makeover.
If you like Bourgeoisie and the want to be you might like this so called gem In buffalo remember buffalo is rated one of the ten highest crime areas in the country it shows than you have shop owners begging for welfare in the size of tax cuts this area is to be avoided for your own risk good luck
Had a nice walk up and down the strip checking out the shops. Haven't done that in many years and was glad to revisit an old favorite.
There are soo many boutiques, restaurants, and shops on Elmwood that I couldn't list them all. It is an amazing place to shop for any holiday or occassion. I go year around just to spend a lazy Saturday or Sunday walking, eating icecream, and window shopping.
it is a great place to wander the streets, the Co-op, Penzey's Spices,, La Dolce, and a great chair massage, near Diavolo's!!
Although spread out, great shopping...women a "must stop" is "Presence Unique Clothing". As the store name suggests pieces are very unique and sales staff are very helpful! Had dinner at Coles, plenty of beer selection and fantastic burgers.
An enjoyable part of town. Shops, bars, restaurants, cafes for all ages and lifestyles. Be sure to look at the architecture on the side streets and take a stroll on Bidwell and Chapin parkways.
Lots of nice locally owned shops and restaurants. Shops seem to close early, I thought was kind of strange before the holidays. It's one of my favorite parts of Buffalo. Parking kind of stinks. Have to park on a side street somewhere.
No big box stores or chain restaurants here. Great shops and hometown restaurants. There is a farmers market on the weekends on Bidwell Parkway in the summer and great Christmas shopping in the winter. This is the place to go if you want a truly unique and thoughtful gift for your loved one or yourself. This is probably THE best...
