Blue Star is another area of San Antonio that is being developed with restaurants, art, shops, etc. and is across the street from the Guenther House and the Pioneer Mill. Blue Star Contemporary Gallery is a frequent stop when visiting San Antonio because there is always something great to see. The newest exhibit which runs through August 18 of San Antonio Painters is a must-see. Eight local artists work is exhibited. A very enjoyable exhibit!

We were in San Antonio in early December 2008. I saw articles about the Blue Star Arts Complex near the King Williams District. It is located across the street from the Guenther House restaurant. Since we were in the area we thought we would wander through the art galleries. There weren't any that we could find!
