The gardens were well maintained with easy walking paths. The staff were very friendly and provided a lot of information as we strolled through the Park. There were some great photo opportunities and serene settings. The art gallery was excellent and provided a nice break from the hot day. My wife and I had an awesome lunch at the Park... More

Wonderful park with great features and special interest areas. Early morning is my favorite but evenings can be nice too depending on the time of year. I love to take photographs there and it's nice because you can go often since the plants are always changing - sometimes in bloom and sometimes not - but there is always something interesting... If you enjoy botanical gardens, Tohono Chul is a great one to visit. There are acres and acres of plantings of native cacti, wildflowers, and other plants. Docents are available to take you on tours, and they have special presentations on a regular basis. We were told to be careful not to step on any rattlesnakes! Then assured that they... More

It is a combination nursery and botanical garden, with a first rate bistro right in front. It specializes in unusual plants, and the displays a very creative. It is naturalistic, peaceful and lovely. Go early in the day. It gets hot.

This is hidden away from view, but well worth looking it up, on the Northwest side of Tucson, off of Ina Road.We often have lunch here on a pleasant spring day, just wonderful local desert ambiance. Tour the grounds that have the names of all the local floral/fauna on your stroll, and stop in to their wonderful gift shops with... More

We read that Tohono Chul Park was in the top ten of botanical gardens in the US and decided to give it a try. It was very nice at a good price. But since we live in and hike the Sonoran desert all the time, we found this to be just like the trails we hike out desert. If, you... More

I am a member of this place. I have been several times and always enjoy going just to visit, take a walk, visit the plant store, etc. A definite place to visit.

We brought my mom and dad here for Mother's Day, and it was a great choice! This is worth the visit! We walked through the entire facility and the art museum. We'll be back with more guests from out of town.
