For residents it's a no brainer to catch a show here, just check the schedule and see what suits your taste. If visiting Providence and want to experience the arts do catch a performance while here. Super talented bunch, it's a small venue so really any seat is fine. It was years ago but my favorite was West Side Story,... More

We passed through Providence for a one night stay on a week long road trip. Found Trinity on the web and in our home town of Ottawa, Canada we really enjoy similar small theaters. Took a chance on a new production called "Social Creatures" buying the tickets online ahead of time. So glad we did. The theater has a wonderful... More

We've been subscribing and supporting for 40 yrs, even after leaving the Prov. area and moving to the Boston area. Still attend every production and even if I don't care for the play (rarely) am always inpressed with acting/sets/sound etc.

Trinity Rep, as it's called, is a great old theater located in the heart of Providence. Trinity has great shows all year long. Their most memorable is "A Christmas Carol", which they produce every year, but each year's show is a bit different than the last. The performances are suburb. This is a wonderful place to see a show,

A great place to see top notch talent and great plays... Their best is the "Christmas Carol" which they do every year and seem to have such an amazing spin or ability to tell the story in different genre's, years,settings,etc..

No need to go to NYC or Boston to go to the theater, one of the best is right in Providence. Tony Award winning Trinity Repertory Co. is sensational with an exceptional group of actors and general theater staff who treat each guest like family. We are seeing four plays this season which started with an outstanding performance of "Crime... More

Terrific actors, some who should be in the national limelight. Innovative and creative staging, lighting and sound. Excellent selection of plays. Are willing to take risks and because of this miss the mark on occasion. But it keeps me coming back for more! Their signature piece is their yearly "Christmas Carol" which is ALWAYS different each year it is produced... More

it's a great little theater and we enjoy our annual visit each year. This year marked our 9th performance in 10 years. This years show was probably the best we've seen. The set and effects were well done and the actors were great as usaully. never a bad seat in the house!

I've been to Trinity several times now and have never been disappointed. The caliber of acting for the entire cast is top notch and the intimate nature of the venue brings you into the whole experience. Can't swing season tix, but I go as often as I can -you should too!
