This is such a lovely little zoo! There was a diverse amount of animals in what looked like spacious, well kept enclosures. It is not a large zoo and there are lots of trees and shade. I would recommend going early, even with all the shade, it got hot around 11. They charge $12 for admission, $9 if you are...

It's a nice zoo, that can be visited and re-visited many times with the same pleasure, very clean, and space for the animals are very generous compared to many other zoos.
Went with my husband while visiting New Mexico for a few days. A very nice small zoo.Lots of kids with their familes enjoying the day and many school trips. Loved that you can have a picnic if you choose to right on the property. A nice variety of animals. Perfect place to spend a few hours while visiting Albuqueque. Mostly...

The zoo has a very nice comfortable feel and look. The animals are all situated so you can enjoy them if when there on display. They have have a surprisingly good variety of animals and it takes a few hours to make your way through the entire zoo.
Enjoyed seeing the new baby giraffe. Somewhat concerned that many exhibits involved sole inhabitants. Didn't seem to be much of an emphasis on socialization for the inmates.
It was a very busy day at the zoo but it was very nice. The staff there works hard to keep the place clean and the animals seem to be well taken care of. I don't go to many zoos but this one seems to be a good one.
My family and I get to Albuquerque a few times each year and this is one of our regular stops. The zoo has some very nice displays of animals, and lots of variety. I especially like strolling through the zoo, the large trees create a very relaxing environment. I have been to many zoos throughout the United States and this...

Watching the sea lions at feeding time is hilarious. The noises and tricks these animals will do for fish is well worth waiting out the Albuquerque heat to see!
