Extremely well done reconditioning and tour of the USS Lexington. However, this is not for anyone with any disabilities (the stairways ("ladders") are original Navy - very narrow, very steep and difficult to climb. However, they are working on installing an elevator so everyone can get to all decks. Worth seeing if you like Navy stuff.

Our family enjoyed this attraction and we were lucky enough to watch wake boarders from all over theworld jump off flight deck and surf to beach. Great appreciation for those who serve.

This is a most inspiring experience you should not miss. We visited family in town and desired to explore the 'Lex'. We attended aquarium next door first. Save your money and go direct to 'Lex'. We spent five hours exploring and experiencing this historical and patriotic wonder. The staff is the best of Texas. You will meet both volunteers and... More

My wife and I took a trip to Corpus Christi on a little get away. We wanted to do something together that neither one of us had done. Being life long Texans we were both amazed that we had never been to the USS Lexington, so we decided to go. We were wearing good walking shoes and we do recommend... More

My husband, nephew and I visited the USS Lexington on our recent trip to Corpus Christi. Unfortunately, we only had about an hour to visit. Still, we were able to see about half of the ship. Two to three hours would have been ideal. I was pleasantly surprised with the interactive displays and my husband and nephew were thrilled that... More

Our first visit to the USS Lexington for the entire family. We really enjoyed everything. My 10 year old son thought it was great as did I. Only thing, wear good walking shoes as you climb al ot of ladders from deck to deck. Plan on spending at least 3 hours.

You should visit this one if you haven't been on an aircraft carrier. I haven been to other war ships and submarines. An aircraft carrier is really different.

If you like this sort of thing, there is a tremendous amount of history in this ship and it took me about 3 hrs to feel like I was satisfied. There are lots of steep stairs. So don't whine about it. If you are not in shape for this type of walking then go somewhere else.

I've been to visit the Lexington about 2 years ago, and it still moves me to this day. History is a very fascinating experience first hand.
