Nice park. Fairly windy year-round, but pretty and some good tide pools. Be sure to check the tide charts specific to this area, otherwise you may miss out on the tide pools.

We visited the Salk Creek around 3:30pm and just enjoyed the stillness there and watching the beautiful pale pink and blue sky and the amazingly clear green water. It was a sanctuary.

We got to see the old gun implacements and learned how they were used to protect the waterway. The hike was great and the tide pools were something to see. We want to camp at the park now. THere are great sites.
