We took the chairlift up and the alpine slide down. It was fun, but not much to it. The view from the top is okay, (you can sorta see Mount Rushmore), but there really isn't anything else to do. There is a snackbar there. The slide is fine, but nothing special.

You can do Mt. Rushmore in a day. So the Alpine slide is a good break. You don't get going too fast even without riding the brake, so let it rip! It is about the only thing to do in Keystone. I didn't try the restaurant at the top, I should have.

We brought our four grandkids (ages 10-15) to the Black Hills and they loved the Alpine Slide. This was not a planned stop but it ended up being one of the highlights of the trip.

We were in black hills & took our kids ages 5,7, 9 on the tram up and then lounged on the eatery deck for a good hr. Great view of the faces from there & a nice cool breeze. My husband had a tall cool one & the kids had the jolly rancher popsicles which were huge! then we all... More

We decided to come to this mainly for our kids, but it turned out to be a great time for the entire family! My daughter and I actually wound up riding this twice while my husband and son were next door at the Aerial Adventures place.

We did the zip line and alpine slide. Kids loved both. Seemed a little pricy, but that is part of being a tourist. We all had fun.

We stopped by here on way to Mount Rushmore. Me and my kids did the alpine slide and also the zipline. I think it is a nice quick stop. It cost a few bucks but think it is on par with most. Both my kids like both. I took the fast route and was disappointed that ran into people so... More

Loved this alot! Great for the kids and of course for parents that are still kids at heart! ...and yessssssss this can be dangerous---for all those bad comments about crashing---duh---look what you're doing!... Be the smart one and ask for helpful hints before going down the slide. Listen to what they say about slowing down at certain places--they've done it,... More

Wow, did the kids, (and adults) had an awesome time here. The kids would have spent all day here if mom and dad would have kept forking over the $$$. Don't go too fast or you WILL crash!!! A must do in Keystone, SD!!!
