We went with a group to scuba dive in the large tank with the Whale Sharks. The experience was amazing and I highly recommend it. Luckily we had scheduled this behind-the-scenes encounter to enjoy time at the Aquarium because everything else about the place on a rainy Saturday was terrible. The hallways around the exhibits were so packed that you... More

I live in Florida and had always wanted to visit the Georgia Aquarium. I have to say, everyone was right, this place is GORGEOUS! It is reasonably priced for its size. All the tanks are so clean, bright in colors and had a wide variety of different fish and other aquatic animals. The dolphin show was awesome! All the staff... More

Very expensive and seems to be geared toward children. Outstanding exhibits, however, it felt like we were at Disney. Expect children running around and continually bumping into you.

My sister and I took our 87 year old mother to the Aquarium and the staff was helpful and right on top of their game. They took us from our parking space in a golf cart to the entrance where another young lady brought out the wheelchair for Mom. Seamless transition into the Aquarium and we had already bought the... My friend bought me this experience for my birthday. What a great day. You are floating in the large tank with all the fishes. The whales swim right toward you and then at the last minute, swim a few inches lower and glide inches beneath you! All in downtown Atlanta. Amazing.

We have annual passes here and no matter how many times we take the kids they love it. They are consistent with new exhibits fun events for families. Our guys love the dolphin show they always want to make sure to do that first.

I probably could have spent all day in there. I loved all of the exhibits, but especially the penguins. They're adorable.

Positives: The walking tunnel and large viewing windows were my favorites....they had me captivated. I loved watching the jelly fish also. I thought it was really cool that they had crawl tunnels though a few of the exhibits (like the penguins and some of the fish tanks)....but, I wore a dress...so I did not crawl through them. They had touch... More
