I got a deal on groupon and decided to take advantage. We went during the week day and it was perfect. it wasn't crowded at all. The animals are well kept. It is a place that you would love to take your children.

The Zoo is a great place for families; tons of interesting animals and not ovewhelming in size. Take a stroller or little kids who might get tired when walking, and check the schedle so you don't miss the feedings or elephant shows.

We took our 3 kids ages 10, 8, and 4. They all had a great time. We feed the birds and the giraffes. Our girls couldn't get enough pics, so take plenty of extra batteries : ) They also have very friendly staff : )

There are a ton of exhibits here, including a huge gorilla habitat where the gorillas can come straight up to the glass. The indoor/outdoor panda habitat was great. A lot of the exhibits let you see the animals from different angles in different environments. We spent about 3 hours there in total, but you could easily spend all day.

This is a small older Zoo, the Animals seem well cared for, and the keepers seem attentive to their needs.

This is a great zoo. The animals are active and you can get very close. I also found the selection of animals was impressive. It is pricey for a one time visit.
