I took the Garden District walking tour May 18, 2013. James was an excellent tour guide and the tour was well worth the time and money. We saw many houses and I feel confident that we saw the most important and interesting ones. Tour was about two hours - the perfect length of time. Highly recommend!

Great guide, interesting facts, good pace - well worth the price! We learned a lot about the practices in the cemetery, which I found fascinating. Had visited before with family but learned nothing about the practices back in the day - out guide did a great job of "taking us back".

We booked a plantation tour through Historic New Orleans Walking Tours based on the recommendation from Frommers. Maybe the key words were "Walking Tours." For this tour, all that was provided by Historic Tours was a ride to the plantation and a ticket for the tour. The plantation tour itself was average, the tour of the main house was okay.... More

Very enjoyable tour, walking wasn't too fast or too slow, and guide kept the information flowing. This is a very enjoyable tour.
