I was at rear and had to keep pushing other horses following guide, I was disappointed from last years trail ride. Plan to use different stables next time. Just being honest with this review!

This place was great. There are so many riding places to choose from in the area that we were a little overwhelmed but we were so happy we chose Sugarland. I was a little nervous to ride and everyone working there was so nice and helpful about it. They really helped me feel comfortable and have a great time. The...

We went riding for my husbands birthday on May 7th. I don't remember the guide's name, he was a younger guy in a camo hoodie, but he was outstanding. Very friendly, easy going, and gave us a lot of information about the area and wildlife. The horses all seemed well cared for (we operate a rescue back home so we...

This was our first horseback ride in over 30 years. My horse "Amy" was beautiful and very sweet. The trail was pretty much level and was great for our limited skill level. Even so, we were sore for 2 days. We had a newer trail guide and he told us a little about himself and about Cades Cove. We are...

My husband and I decided we wanted to ride, but had no idea which stable to choose. We were very glad we chose Sugarland. Ours horses were very gentle and our guide was great. He watched over us the whole trip.
We went on the hour long trail ride--none of the four adults or four children (ages 7 - 10) are experienced riders. The guys that gave us directions and got us on the horses were AWESOME and the guide was A+! The horses were very well-behaved and we didn't have any issues. The staff was all very friendly, knowledgable and...

My husband and I did the 1 hour mountain trail ride. Neither of us had any horseback experience. We were guided by Randy who did a great job of "coaching"us on proper horseback techniques along the way and giving us some great stories about the mountains as we went up and downhill through the GSM. The trail ride had great...

Took advantage of the trail ride. A little slow for our taste and the horses seemed to dislike an experienced rider. Even with this and the fact it decided to rain (actually an advantage in the experience) the ride was nice. We would recommend this for others.
Booked an hour trail ride for $30 a person. Our guide, Rocker, was great. Staff helped you on and off the horses. Scenery was beautiful.
Really enjoyed our ride. We are by no means experienced riders but the guide and the "bear bait" Dustin made the ride easy and very enjoyable. Saw some turkeys and deer along the way. Horses were very well taken care of, clean and well mannered. Cost was on the high end of those around but worth it for the cleanliness...
