The trip itself was great.......of course there is a but!!!! Our guide was not very friendly and seemed to be ready to get trip over as soon as possible. Of course since you are rafting you cannot take pictures; but the company (Rafting in the Smokies) takes pictures just like most of the attractions in Gatlinburg do. However the cost... More

This was a fun trip for a good price. Our guide was very pleasant and fun. We got to swim in the river for a little bit towards the end of the trip. The rapids were very fun. I'm sure that we will come again. More

My husband and I had a great time with Rafting in the Smokies. It was our first time rafting and I really didn’t know what to expect, but we had a blast. Our guide, Zach, was nice, fun and very knowledgeable about the river and the general area and ensured we had a great time. The only thing I would... More

Yeah!! We strive to make rafting the highlight of everyone's trip and are thrilled that it was for you. Thanks, Ninja_Girl11 for taking the time to post. We are already working on the additional zip lines, so you'll have even more fun when you come back this summer. Maybe you'll try the ropes challenge course this year? Thanks again for... More

The ziplines were a joke. We were told we would be on the ziplines for an hour. It took 15 minutes or less and then we had to wait 3 hours for our raft trip because the reservationist gave us incorrect information. The raft trip was fine - but the water wasn't that difficult to navigate - a bit of... More

Thank you for making us aware of your experience. I am really sorry if we didn't meet your expectations. I'm sure this was a pure human error as far as the delay between your zipline and rafting trips. In the summer when we are busy we have to allow a little bit more time in between (definitely not 3 hrs?)... More

How can you go wrong. Tennessee..White water rafting= a totally rewarding and invigorating experience. My fiance and I went rafting last spring and had a blast. The people are professional, nice, and very enthusiastic. My fiance is not a strong swimmer and our raft leader provided support which help ease his nerves. We can't wait to go back! More

It was unseasonably cold when we went, so we didn't want to get wet rafting...so we did the rope challenge course & ziplining...OMG! It was so cool! the ropes are definitely a challenge! We only did levels 1 & 2 & it was SCAREY!!! Our teen did a few parts of Level 3, but you have to be in tip... More

So glad you enjoyed our ziplines and ropes course! When you come back rafting next season, maybe you'll tackle those last two ropes challenges? We took our second trip with Rafting in the Smokies in June 2011. This included me and my wife, along with my son (15), and two daughters (17 & 19). We were on the upper Pigeon River, which has category 3,4, and 5 rapids. This is a great trip, and this time I did not fall into the water, so... More

Explore the most action packed five miles of whitewater rafting in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. This section of river is a great intermediate trip with class III & IV rapids. The river's scenery is just as dramatic as its rapids. On this section of river, yo will raft past the Smoky mountain National Park, Cherokee National Forest, Martha Sundquist... More

This has to be the best thing i have done while being at Gatlinburg, the attraction itself was fantastic. Had a wonderful time rafting in the smokies not only because it was my first time, but also because my guide was a bit of a joker. He liked to scare us since he knew it was our first time through...
