I really enjoyed walking across the Brooklyn Bridge. You do get great views of Manhattan's skyline, as well as Ellis Island, Statue of Liberty and other great landmarks that makes New York famous. There was a bit of construction and obstructed views though, so don't think it's perfect.

This is one of those things you just have to do -- walk over to Manhattan from Brooklyn. Just don't do it on a windy, cold and rainy day in April.

Taking the walk accross Brooklyn bridge at night unforgettable. Walk from the Brooklyn bridge towards Manhattan starting at dusk if you can.

I've been to NYC many times and didn't realize that walking the Brooklyn Bridge was such an attraction. It can be crowded, especially with the bikes but was fun to see the structure up close and get a different perspective of the city.

Walked over together with MANY tourists, but for a reason. Great views. Watch out for bicycles, stay on your side :-)

Definitely another great place to take a look at the New York skyline. Whether it be night or day (maybe a good idea to do both) you capture the magic of New York standing on this bridge. Do be aware of the bicycle lane because you will get steam rollered if you do not move out of the way!

If you have a beautiful day, do yourself a favor and walk the Brooklyn Bridge, the vistas are great, now including the Freedom Tower. Its very walkable about 1.5 miles. Be careful of the bikers, and stay on the pedestrian lines and you will be rewarded with a great walk looking at the NEw York skyline and into the steel...

This highly popular attraction is worth walking over. You get good views over the water, of the next bridge, of a bit of Brooklyn and looking back to the city. If you just happened to visit downtown Manhattan, especially if you have just done visiting South Street Seaport and have two hours to spare, go ahead and take a walk along the Brooklyn Bride.
