Walked around here for quite some time. Nice park lots of dog walkers. It was late fall and the autumn colours were amazing. Very nice there
This square is a nice place to stop and relax, people watch, eat a bite or watch one of the various street performers. The gardens are well cared for, lots of benches and very central to all that's going on in the neighborhood.
This place is sweet and quaint and comfortable. The location and the staff make up for the lack of the truly innovative design you might expect from a boutique hotel, but there is truly nothing to complain about. Bedding was very nice, nice toiletries, and everything you could want with helpful staff who take pride in their jobs. Provided pre-fab... More
I visited this public square/park after a decade hiatus, and wow, what a difference! Lining the outside of the square were cafes and restaurants with outdoor seating filled with diners. Along the outside were walkers and cyclists meandering among city destinations. Inside the park were lots of people socializing, chatting on the many benches, and even musicians playing restrained but... More
Rittenhouse square is a nice park just a short walk from City Hall. Steeped in history this location is a must see for all those American history buffs who visit Philly!!

Enjoyed walking through the square. Very relaxing and saw lots of different types of people. Seemed pretty clean for the middle of the city. I really enjoyed visiting Philadelphia.
Rittenhouse Square was my favorite part of my visit to Philly! If you go during the afternoon, it's a perfect place to have a nice picnic in a little park. It's relatively small, but houses some beautiful lights at night, and an incredible array of statues (my favorite was the lion one!). I'm also an amateur bird watcher, and spotted... More
Rittenhouse Square is a pretty little square in the centre of Philly. It's pretty small but good for a summer evening's stroll. We stopped by here on a weekday evening and it felt quite safe. There are lots of people milling about, even after dark, so you feel comfortable to wander around. There are a few shady characters hanging about... More
