couldn t buy any beach souvenirs because there was no shops to spend money in you had to leave the beach area

The area around the pier and the pier itself is a great place for a morning stroll. The weather is lovely and the sunshine is welcome. The beach is gorgeous, and the sand is nice. Like all Ventura beaches, it is an unspoiled beach with very little commercial activity.
