I still remember when Wild River Country first opened. It was far and above anything Arkansas had experienced. Spent many an evening soaking up sun and water in the Lazy River, floating in a tube on the Arkansas Ocean, and who could forget the old "Lightning Bolt" - that they finally took down due to liability (several people were injured... Not sure what all the good reviews are about - I suspect they have been written by the new owners since they are dated this March and the park isn't even open until the summer.

The water rides are awesome! To be able to go on all of them I suggest you rent a tube. You can skip lines and go by yourself on ones requiring more than one person! The lines are decent and you have quite a climb to each of the slides! You need to know how to swim! Make sure you... More

I visited Wild River Country during an exchange and it was an experience I will never ever forget. We went there in the evening with a bunch of kids and teenagers and everybody had a lot of fun. The whole parc is in the open and they have a lot of attractions to offer. There is for example the "Cyclone",... More

This water park is OLD and needs updating and MAINTENANCE! We won't go back unless things change. This water park seems to attract the WRONG crowd so go at your own risk. Magic Springs in Hot Springs beats it hands down...and is 2 parks in one.

This place is a lot of fun, but you need to be at least moderately in shape to handle this place. The start of each slide is pretty high off of the ground, so you have to climb hills and steps just to get in position. The wait was pretty good, all considering, since the park stayed fairly packed. Some... More

Good refreshing on hot days. The rides are ok but nothing special. Military are for free and the partner is half off. Food in there is expensive but the have picnic tables in front of the park. u are allowed to leave the park, grab ur cooler eat and go back in.

First I must say that the sidewalks are on fire so keep your shoes on! The family had a good day - lots of different age level activities. We got ticket discounts by buying online. Employees were all super friendly. Only thing that I didn't like was an extra $5 fee to 'rent a tube'. Really? We didn't do it... More

Pricing wasn't ridiculous for snacks and drinks, though you can take a picnic if you like.

Fun little day trip! Plenty of fun slides! Fun for a smaller waterpark!
