Myself, my partner and two friends of ours went here last Friday not really knowing what to expect since they didn't post who would be performing until noon the day before. We went to the 12:15 AM show. We got there early and were able to have a few drinks at the bar, but were warned that we couldn't have... More

We reserved a few days ahead for the Tuesday early show, and it was sold out by the time the show started, so... plan ahead. The time was absolutely marvelous, cannot think of a better way to spend an evening in NY. Absolutely must do while visiting the city!

We went to a early Friday evening show. We were first in line and asked where we wanted to sit beforehand which was nice. The place was packed and we were packed in tight. Most of the comics were very funny. We even had a surprise one. I don't watch the show but he is in Parks and Recreation. His... More

Booked this while on a weekend break in NY. Good class of act in a suitably dingy cellar. Sat to the front and got abused, but that is to be expected. If your easy to offend sit at the back. I'd definitely give this another go when I'm next in town.

Being our first visit to New York, my bf and I were very keen to check out a comedy show. We booked an 8pm show through the Comedy Cellar website, ordered our two compulsory drinks (have to order two items each from the menu) and it was still a fantastic and inexpensive night. There are some awesome bars on the... More

A must se show if you like standup comedy, really funny. Some of the comedians had been on TV shows like David Letterman.

My hubby and I were walking along Times Square where we were approached by a guy hustling. The comedy show was only $10 and a two drink minimum per person. We enjoyed the show, but there were two hecklers that just won't shut up. So we ended up walking out.

I'm not the biggest fan of comedy, but a had a really great evening in the Comedy Cellar. Very entertaining, nice atmosphere and cheap. A must do when you're in New York!

I love this place, been here well over 10 to 15 times. It is very tight in his place, service is quick, 2 item minimum and reasonable cover. With the exception of a few, the comedians are totally hilarious. Keith Robinson is the funniest MC hands down! Try to go when he's there. Ardie Fuqua also very funny. Please note:... More

This trip we could not get into the Comedy Cellar one night so were seduced into going to the Grisly Pear nearby for a similar experience (Comedy Village). It was so bad. It really put us off stand-up comedy. So we undertook to BOOK the Comedy Cellar a week later to try to redeem our faith in good comedy. And... More
