Pretty cool place. Clean. Good experience when we were there. No big secret to share. Hey, what is not to like if your going to sail away on a boat or cruise?

I took my kids to the golf driving range. We all had a great time smashing the golf balls towards the Hudson River. I love the multi story tees. It was a week day in the middle of winter so not much else was happening. I wanted so much to "happy Gilmore" the ball but I was too scared I'd...

Given the cold weather over the Easter weekend when we visited I was looking for somewhere indoors that would be fun. Chelsea Piers was it. There was bowling at 300. There is rock climbing, indoor skating rink and golf. Definitely a great place to have an afternoon of outdoor ( indoor) fun
A great place to hang out, take friends from out of town, or children. You can run or cycle all around, rent bikes, or just walk and people watch. There are so many options for things to see or do, and eat, that you can show up with no agenda and spend an entire day.
This place is great if you're into you're sports. There are lots of activities like golf, basketball and though we didn't see it apparently there is an ice skating rink also. It's just a pleasant change of pace from the hustle and bustle of Manhattan. If you're looking for a way to unwind I'd recommend coming here. Not sure about...

Was walking the NY Highline and popped off to look around Chelsea Piers. HAs lots of sports facilities in there - including the gold club (where you can hit balls out into the area over the husdon river and the batting cages. Being from the UK i've often seen batting cages in films - so was really excited to experience...

If you are a sports hound, or just need to keep moving, this is the place for you. They have an ice skating rink, a sports club where you can rock climb, spin, or learn how to surf, swim, box, play basketball, practice your golf swing, and on, and on. I haven't been there since SANDY, but I was told...

My husband likes to take my child ice skating here and it makes for a fun family outing. Nice location along the river. Wish we could get there more often. Has plenty of different sporting activities to cater to most people's needs.
The piers themselves are nothing special to see unless you're going for a Craft Show or Art Exhibit. The whole area is just full of parking lots, old decaying piers and huge warehouse like buildings with no character.
This review is mostly geared to those living or working in New York. If I were from out of town and looking to start a new life in New York, Chelsea would be the place for me. A nice, clean neighborhood. Safe, not to "fancy Shmansy", not to Posh or Artsy... Nice. Real estate is a bit competitive but isn't...
