There's a reason this zoo is internationally celebrated-- it's amazing. It's not only the vast variety of animals they have, it's also the habitats and the walking trails through the park. Every turn is an experience. The shows in the park are also a lot of fun and a good chance to rest your feet for a bit. I've been... More

They needed to clean the windows. They were so dirty and scratched that you couldn't even take pictures of the animals and have them turn out.

I was stoked to check out the world famous San Diego Zoo last fall, so much so that I was half expecting the experience to fall flat of my high expectations. And the steep entry fee had our visit to the zoo starting off on shaky ground. And then we passed through the gates. Wow! The plant life was luscious,... More

I liked the zoo very much, The food and drinks are very expensive, save yourself some money bring your own bottled water. Pack a picnic lunch. We walked the entire zoo, but areas are not marked real well. But as far as the zoo is concerned it is excellent

We absolutely love this zoo. There are so many different animals here. My son especially loves going to see the Polar Bear Exhibit. There is a lot of walking and some of it can be steep, but we love the great workout. Can be tough with a large stroller. There is a good variety of food and places to eat... More

We visited with our 4 children, all under the age of 8. We had a wonderful day. The weather was perfect and we had a really fun time. I will say, there are a lot of hills, so bring your walking shoes. We went mid may, and the place was dead. I will say there was a 30 min wait... More

This was really fun, we went for 10am when it just opened and a lot of the animals we saw in the 1st hour were asleep but we still got to see them, by lunchtime the zoo was very busy and we were tired as we walked the whole thing, it took us 2 hours to walk round the whole... More

I love the animals- The ability to see and get clear shots of the animals was great. There is a lot of walking which I don't mind, but you should know it. Where sunscreen no matter what the weather
