We had booked a whale cruise May 4, but it was cancelled due to rough seas & now that I read other reviews, I'm glad it was cancelled since there aren't many whales to see anyway. My husband usually gets seasick so he had planned ahead by taking medication. Anyway, since we were down at the wharf, we decided to... More

We went on the harbour cruise as a bonus on an Old Town Trolley hop on hop off tour, and it was well worth the time. The stop at Charlestown Naval Yard and USS Constitution was particularly appreciated and unexpected. The taped narrative was informative, even though the p.a system crackled noisily from time to time. Well worth doing.

I think people have to realize that very few things can be guaranteed in life and being fortunate enough to get a close encounter with a whale is subject to a bit of luck especially at the start of the whale season. The boat I was on was a large catamaran which made the journey a bit less bumpy but... More

We cruised around Boston Harbor. I learned a lot about the city, but it was difficult to hear the captain speak (or tape) in certain parts of the ship. It was a nice relaxing end to our trip. My only regret is not getting off at the Charlestown Naval Yard and going to the museum. We simply ran out of... More

We did a whale watching trip with them and enjoyed it very much. Our original trip was canceled but they rescheduled for another day with no problem. Even though it was a very cold day and the seas were a little rough we were able to see one Fin Whale 3 different times. They had a biologist from the aquarium... More

I have never been whale watching before and was super excited. the tour is about 3 hours and a lot of it is spent travelling to the spot to see whales. Unfortunately we only saw one whale in the distance for about three seconds. You do take the chance of seeing nothing because it depend s on the whales behavior.... More

We received this cruise as a part of the Old Town Trolley Tour and it was the perfect end to our trip to Boston. We really enjoyed the ride, it was informative and relaxing. Not overly crowded unfortunately it was very overcast when we got onboard so my pics all looked black and white but that was no fault of... More

We took the Boston Harbor whale watching cruise and it was the most incredible 3+ hour boat tour I have ever been on. The boat takes you approx 15 miles off the coast, to a protected marine sanctuary, and you'll get to see the whales and other marine life up close and personal. Seeing creatures of that size, in their... More

During our family vacation with four children we took this cruise for the views of the city and in the hopes of getting a glimpse of a whale. We were more than happy with our experience. It was a beautiful clear day so the views were amazing! But the best part was we didn’t see just one whale we saw... More

I took my brother and his family on this tour when they came to visit. Since they don't live here, it gave them a great view of the city as we went out on the water. It's amazing to see the whales and dolphins in their natural habitat. My niece especially enjoyed it, although she didn't care as much about... More
