First trip to Arches and it was awesome. I couldn't take enough pictures. Time was very limited so we were unable to take any hikes but it was breathtaking just driving through the park. Wish I had visited when I was younger with more time and lots more energy. One day just isn't enough.

Awe inspiring scenery abounds in this park - unfortunately the roads and particularly the parking don't match the natural beauty nor did they accommodate the number of visitors on the day we were there. This park cries for a jump off / jump on shuttle service - would be a far better solution than adding more paving. Traffic increased tremendously... More

I love this park. Loved the early mornings, when the arches were not crowded yet. I was quite impressed by the visitor center, which had a great exhibition about the establishment of the park itself. Nice work there.

Arches is an incredibly beautiful place. However, there isn't a ton of hiking to be done, so once you've been through it for a day, there isn't a huge need to go back IMHO, but it's certainly a special place everyone can enjoy.

Photography gluttony. Uncrowded, well set up like most national parks and its free on national parks week in April. Amazing how many visitors have limited english.

Some spectacular structures not only arches, you don't get to see the thousands in their publicity but plenty of photo opportunities. There is water available at the visitor centre but no other refreshments available in the park, don't expect Grand Canyon facilities. we drove the entire park and did some short hikes, its gets very hot here, half a day... Close to Moab and the drive and viewpoints and hikes are spectacular. Although I didn't do any biking, there were many bike paths and rides available for all levels of rides. I was there in May and it was already 28 c. I suspect the temperature would be challenging in the summer months.

Arches National Park is a must see if you are in the lower half of Utah. Rock formations are not unique to this national park, but the number and size of the arches is. Many of the arches are small, while others are huge, spanning more than 40 or 50 foot. It is really fun to hike up to an... More

Our visit to Arches National Park in Moab, Utah, was an amazing delight! We were not familiar with Utah at all until a student from Japan brought back rave reviews about the sights he had seen there. We enjoyed the hiking, crossing the rock to stand beneath the Delicate Arch was a favorite trek. We also went to the park... More
