The life and times of Walt Disney and his family were presented in an open and honest way. What an impression this museum left with us! Fantastic and very well presented. The only issue is getting to and from the museum which is located within The Presidio - a challenge but doable and worth it.

Note that this is about Walt Disney and HIS family, and not necessarily a museum that the whole family (i.e. very young children) will find enjoyable. Fascinating look into the history of Walt Disney "the person", his family history, and how he developed his talents into what it is today. Also delves into the technical aspects of cartoon motion picture... More

We really thought this was a terrific museum. Lots of interactive exhibitions - video, audio, photos. Allow enough time - it is extensive!!!!

We became members after visiting once. The Presidio is a lovely location, the museum has a fascinating standing collection about Disney the man and the empire, and their film room is much like the one at Dolby--a wonderful space (all digital showings, I think).

My husband and I went to the museum for the first time this weekend. I am a huge fan of anything Disney, but my husband isn't so much, and he even enjoyed it a lot more than he thought he would. I thought it was fantastic! I love learning new things about Disney and Walt's life, and they have so... More

This would be the place to see just to see the special academy award that Walt disney got for Snow White and the seven dwarves And sit on the very bench that Walt himself sat on while he brought his kids to a carousel Very interesting exhibit for all things Walt disney

This is an interesting museum if you like Disney history. Not something that small children would be interested in as there is a lot of reading to be done about the exhibits.

As one might expect from Disney, this is a multimedia extravaganza. Unfortunately the facility is not big enough for all the sights and sounds. Every room has at least 4 media screens going with sound at all times. You just can't focus on one without being distracted by another. Also, it really would have been helpful if they had a... More

Glad we stopped here on our trip to San Francisco, it's a well kept - rather large museum. It is a lot of walking with one sparse seating, but it's very informative and a pleasant atmosphere. There were some opportunities to he interactive and a lot of interesting history. As I mentioned on my title, I knew a lot of... More

I am a nerd to the fullest. I love all things Disney and I love knowing all of the behind the scenes of Disney and going to the museum made me love Disney even more knowing what made him tick and knowing the heart that all of the animator a have poured into Disney all these years. Plus the price... More
