We hiked from the Golden Gate bridge along the pathway and ended up at Crissy Field. I enjoyed watching all the families with their cook outs, kids and adults flying kites. The views of the bay and watching the fog roll in were beautiful. I also enjoyed watching the dogs playing on the beach. The sail boats and windsurfers were... More

Crissy Field is a natural park along the north shore of the San Francisco Peninsula. Just south of the Golden Gate Bridge, it offers spectacular views of the bridge, bay and city. The city people come here to play, a few even go into the frigid waters.

We cycled from Fishermans Wharf through Crissy Field and onto the Golden Gate Bridge. It is a lovely quiet area yet so close to the centre of San Fransisco. It has a lovely coastal walk and some amazing houses.

Open field for pets and people to roam around. The trail goes to either the city or the Golden Gate Park.

We walked from Fort Mason all the way to Doyle Drive and then headed back because it was so windy and getting cold. There were people walking their dogs, families on bikes, joggers, dogs chasing balls all muddy and wet...great area to walk and enjoy the bay and the view. It was so pretty.

Park for FREE and take a walk along the SF shore, and take in the incredible view of the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, the SF Bay, and Sausalito in the distance. Lots of locals walk their dogs down here so if you're a dog-lover, you are in for a treat! Also, in the late afternoon lots of people come to... More

A family friendly place to walk, run, bike, swim, sunbathe, etc. Fortunately we had a great day, temps in the 70's, a light breeze, and lots of sun. We simply strolled hand in hand enjoying the peacefulness of our surroundings. A great view of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz. Just a neat place to totally unwind and leave life... More

Between Marina Green and Fort Point, a heavily used, mostly flat, wide, hard sand-surfaced walkway passes through Crissy Field. It affords many vantage points from which to admire and photograph the Golden Gate Bridge and windsurfers and watercraft out on the Bay. A camera is a must here, but be alert for distracted bicyclists! The Field also has trail information... More

Runners, check out this area. We started at Fisherman's wharf and ran through Fort Mason to Crissy Field. Beautiful run by the water with views of the bridge all the way out. Must do!
