This interactive children's museum is awesome for children from toddlers to tweens. The animation studio where kids can make claymation movies was a big hit.

We took our two year old daughter and she really enjoyed it! Outside of the Creativity Museum is a very nice carousel, as well. We were only there for about a half hour, but it was a nice place to come in to from the cold and let your toddler run around, climb on the slide, participate in crafts, etc.... More

We spent 4 hours at this museum and spent the majority of our time in the animation area. The animation area is really fun, regardless of age. Each of us created a clay model with a wire based and then we moved over to a frame where we were able to create our own movie. Together we laughed so hard... More

My 5 yr. old son and I visited this museum in July 2012. We were attracted by the historic carousel and read reviews about the museum here on TA. Cost was about $11 per person, they are an ASTC museum and offer AAA discounts. There is a lot to do here. This is a great place to interact with other... More

I would highly recommend Children's Creativity Museum for a family outing, play date meet-up or kid's birthday party. CCM is a total San Francisco hidden gem for young explorers! They recently went through a major renovation where they expanded its offerings to target children 3-12 (and beyond)...but my 2 year old daughter loves it as well. A new area of... More

We took our 5 year-old here during a visit to S.F. Such a cool place. Not overly crowded like many children's attractions and museums. He liked creating a claymation video and experimenting with 2-D and 3-D video. He also enjoyed editing his photo using Photoshop. Exhibits are well-organized and kept-up. What was really impressive were the young people who worked... More

My kids really enjoyed this interactive technology kid's museum. Unfortunately we didn't plan to spend more than 2 hours here, but depending on your child's patience you could easily spend 4-5 hours to do everything here. My kids started (and ended) in the clay animation room, where you make your own clay animation figure using various colored clays and wire... More

While touring San Francisco, we stopped here with my three children (ages 8, 9, and 11)as a bit of respite from the more traditional stops. This allowed them an opportunity to relax a little bit. We visited on a Thursday afternoon during the school week, so we found the museum to be quiet with just a few of the preschool... More

A fantastic technology museum with opportunity for visitors to create your own claymotion character, direct a movie and be a rockstar! We visited on a target sponsored day so it was all free but i would definitely look up the free music series in the gardens outside. A brilliant museum!
