We crossed the bridge on out way the Muir Woods. We learnt about the construction of the brige and some others stories behind the scenes. Nice to see, then we went under it on a ferry.

Everyone who comes to visit San Francisco must visit the world famous Golden Gate Bridge, as it really is a stunning structure.
On this occasion we didn't have the opportunity to walk across, but we did travel across in an open top tour bus twice (a very windy experience), and got a few good pics.

always fun to walk across the bridge. There is a new visitor center just below the SF entrance which looks interesting (haven't been in it yet). Wear a warm jacket as it gets windy.

Traveled to San Francisco from Canada and made a 12 walk from the hotel to the bridge. I'm glad we made the hike and it is amazing the actual size of this bridge.
Lovely colours of the bridge and bay, especially at sunset, a classic sight not be be missed when visiting San Francisco
enjoyable walkling all the way across. Didnt like that there was no food nor drink at all on other side! not even a water vendor! Also no public transport back to other side.
I rented a bike and ride across the bridge. That was a really fun way to experience the bridge. There is a beautiful park at the base of the bridge and lots of areas for photo opportunities!
