Whether you are a tourist or live in the San Francisco Bay Area, this is a great outing. Travel by Ferry from either Tiburon, Sausalito, Larkspur or Vallejo for lunch or dinner. The food choices are just too delicious to choose from. A must to eat on the run or take home is the Acme Artisan bread bakery. I just... More

A good place to visit and grab something to eat at the Market in the old Ferry building. Sit on the quay and watch the world go by.

if you live in san francisco you can shop for very nice selected things for eating and decorating. If you go there just to visit it would seem uninteresting but its just so beautiful that i enjoyed even when i couldn't buy much.

A can't miss destination for locals or tourists. Even when the farmers' market isn't going on outside, this is a great spot. Lots of charming shops offering everything from home goods, olive oils, chocolates, gifts. Nothing too kitschy or tacky like you'd find at Pier 39. Plenty of restaurant/dining choices to please everyone and anyone. Come for dinner and stay... More

We loved the Ferry Building Marketplace. If you are a foodie or enjoy cooking....this is a must see spot. It is located in 1 Ferry Building. The architecture of the ferry building is absolutely beautiful. On a sunny day...the sun glimmers through the beautiful sky lights and gorgeous half moon windows! Throughout the marketplace, you will find great little artisan... More

Great place to people watch! Packed! Lines galore, especially for the ladies room! A must stop, love the local vendors. Hint: try the chocolate!

Great place to start your day. I actually spent there more time than planned just wondering along the counters. Very peaceful and joyful atmosphere, sunshine and lots of locally produced greens, foods, sweets. I bought some honey there, orange-juice coated almonds and lavender oil. Also couldn't resist buying a hot-dog (made of home-grown meat) and sitting on a bench watching... More

The Ferry Building Marketplace offers a variety of food options for the foodie in everyone! Gluten-free options abound, and the wine store there is fantastic. We got some lavender shortbread at the bakery, which was delicious, and we bought some pistachio macaroons and rose geranium macaroons, which were to die for!. Later we ate at the Slanted Door, which is... More
