I never tire of going to this beach. It is one of the nicest and most pristine beaches on the island if Oahu. It is NEVER crowded, or it sent been when we've been there. The lifeguards are friendly and vigilant. The water can be rough and its usually very windy. I've brought an umbrella a few times and it... More

Loved this beach and so glad we found it. It's a short drive up beautiful coastline to get here. We were staying in Ko Olina so it wasn't much of a trek at all. Amazing beach, clean, and quiet. No road noise, no helicopters, nothing but the surf and sand. We were at the furthest end of the beach with... More

Absolutely beautiful area. Easy to find and so nice to be able to get away from all the touristy places and really see the beauty that Oahu has to offer. Beautiful clean sand and waves. So peaceful and plenty of space without feeling crowded. I can't wait to bring my Mom and niece here when they come to visit.

Went to Yokohama Bay for the first time yesterday. I grew up in O'ahu until I was 8 and have visited many times in my adult life. Yokohama Bay ranks as the top 3 beaches for me on the island. Great sand, waves that kids can play in and good surf down the beach for adults. Water was crystal clear... More

The rocky coast line, the mountains (Waianae). It was like being at the end, go no further part of the island and them you hike the rest to great viewing vistas. The beaches ware beautiful. A great place to view a sunset.

Once again (as in Kauai Island) I found the best beach of the island at the far west side. They call all the extent of the beach as Yokohama Bay, but the best part for me is at the end of the road, by Ka'ena Point State Park. Huge cliffs at your back, sea in your front and a nice... More

It's a bit of a drive and out the way, but once you get there you know that it's totally worth it! The beach is absolutely beautiful. Like other reviewers stated, park near lifeguards and don't leave any valuables in the car. One of my favorite pictures from our vacation is my husband and son at this beach with the... More

We liked this beach because it was mostly locals and mostly deserted. We saw a few local surfers and that was cool too.

I know, I know, they are all pretty much beautful but if you can find a way to make it out to Yokohama Bay on your visit, you won't be disappointed. A great place to get a great tan so if the sun is shining, bring lots of sunscreen. Also a great place to rest after a refreshing hike out... More

This is the MUST VISIT place on the island. Few people get here as the road does not go around Kaena Point. The road ends here on the West Shore. The sunsets are often the best you will get on the island as this is the dry side. I've been here on days when the clouds hang on the peaks,... More
