Founded in 1963, the nonprofit Center was created so that the students of nearby Brigham Young University Hawaii could work their way through college by sharing their island heritage with visitors. Each presentation by those representing their villages are so interesting. I would recommend you rent a car and drive to this. You will nog need a tour guide. There is plenty of signage and college students to guide you to the next village. Once there, the Villagers make the presentation. The luau is good, the HA show is awesome.

It was a wonderful experience seeing all the villages and their differences/simularities. I loved being able to let my children see where they came from and how their ancestors lived on the Big Island. The food was wonderful and it allowed my girls to try some of the daily dishes that we dont get in indiana. As I watched my... More

We did the Lani package ( I think that's what it was called). It came with the general admit, a canoe ride, a luau, and the night show called Ha. Everything was worth the price. Food was very good, the local favorites anyway. The other stuff was average (steak, cake, salmon filet). A must do for the experience.

All outdoors, so pack accordingly. It POURED the day we visited, and everyone was running around to buy their crappy $3 ponchos. My hubby was cranky about staying for the luau and the evening Ha show but ended up eating his words: the show was really well done, and he was later telling people the luau was the best meal... One of the best experiences of living in Hawaii! Seen it 3 times and will be going back again. The best part of it all was the breath of HA. It was just breathtaking.

This was a wonderful experience. They had a canoe pagent with dancers from each of the different islands; Samoa, Tonga, Hawaii, Tahiti, Aotearoa, and Fiji. It was a colorful show with very talented dancers. For each of the islands they also had a village with cultural presentations scheduled thru out the day. I wish we could have seen them all... More

The reviews have all been pretty accurate. We hardly made a dent in seeing everything. What we did see was really good. Really enjoyed Samoan show. We did the Samoan show package which seemed the best value. After being there I realized I think it was the best value. Seats were great for Ha, we reserved on the aisle next... More

We were bussed to the cultural center, dropped off, fed lunch and dinner, went to a party, had pictures made, a personal tour guide and had 3 shows! this was the most favorite part of our trip. Worth the money, a great value for family.

We had a wonderful experience at the PCC. Learning of different cultures was very educational. The place is very serine but do not be fooled. Guard your belongings at the center, somebody stole my i-pad.

Nice day out and something different. Some great displays and exhibitions from the various islands. The Samoa guy is fantastic - so so funny, and he's a good artist as well. Bit of a Disney feel to it, e.g. the water pageant, but not too much that it ruins it. The evening show was quite good, but a bit overlong... More
