I love lanikai beach. In the early mornings there isn't really many people there, it really was a blessing for this gorgeous beach to be a bit secluded and not as crazily busy as Waikiki. The sand is soft as pillows. Visited here daily on our trip.

What can I say. This is the most beautiful beach on the island. The sand is as fine as powder. The water was as warm as bath water and the view was amazing. The color of the water against the blue sky is almost unreal. You can not only swin, but ou can kayak, snorkle and paddle board. Great place...

This place is SO beautiful. Its a far cry from busy Waikiki Beach. You park on the street in the surrounding neighborhood and walk down one of the paths to the beach. No public facilities so go before you get there! Its breezy here and peaceful and I highly recommend this as a must see while staying on Oahu.
The beach is so spectacular. We kayaked from this beach to the Moku Nui island. Would recommend going to this beach.
My all time favorite beach, especially at low tide away from the more public areas. Soft white sand, calm waters, turtles swimming by ...
No parking lot--must park in densely populated neighborhood. Parking laws strickly enforced. No restrooms.
Beautiful soft white sand, lovely blue water, magnificent views of the islands... Turtles swimming in the water whales visible off shore... Only down side is car parking... If you live in Lanikai you're set otherwise you have to risk a parking ticket or walk a long way. I guess this keeps the beach quiet and crowd free.
Lanikai is also known as “heavenly sea”. I remember back to the 1980's when Lanikai Beach was bigger with much more sand before the water started. Rumor has it that storms moved a lot of sand north around the point to Kailua Beach. However, I seem to recall Kailua Beach previously having more sand also.
This is a classic, beautiful...

So far this is the most beautiful pristine beaches that you can swim or snorkel a bit , I have been in Hawaii. It's calm so you can swim but also very very pretty. No high waves, not sure why that's why I love it.
It's not showing on our GPS... But we found it! Very nice quiet beach... Relaxing view! Worth the trip!
