We went on a two tank dive during the first week of December 2012 and we are just rookie divers. Sam was our dive leader and he was great; very knowledgeable about all the sites and animals therein. We saw a pod of dolphins, a manta ray from the surface that we were able to hang with for about five... More

My husband and I love the water and decided that on this trip to Hawaii, we wanted to become PADI certified scuba divers. We've done a few discovery dives and are avid snorkelers. When I called for information, I was assisted by Bruce on the phone. He was very nice. I called a couple of other places, but I really... More

Not the first time we've gone out with the team from Blue Wilderness and as usual, just excellent! In fact best snorkel ever! Snorkeled until the tops of my toes were blistered on both feet! Met at the Kawaihae Harbour at 7:45 AM. Slick as a whistle the crew launches the Zodiak. On this particular morning there are 4 Certified... More

So I was here on a family holiday when I walked into the shop to just look. I had been thinking about diving for sometime however had never made the commitment to try it.... after speaking with Dave I felt very comfortable with trying it! Within a 4 days I had completed my open water & was loving it! Awesome... More

We dove with blue wilderness and had a blast. They have the best boat for those of us that get sea sick. Very smooth and fast. Loads of fun. We saw everything from unique coral to turtle cleaning stations. We will return.

The blue wilderness crew took such good care of us while enjoying the the critters of the sea. They were safe, fun and patient with newbies. We had some more experienced divers on the boat too and they came out of the water with only smiles. In betweeen dives we even got to see many humpbacks surface and breach. I... More

We recently used Blue Wilderness for our referral Open Water dives. The experience was exceptional! Denise Vidosh, the owner, is simply a wonderful person. Once she learnt that our 11 year old had struggled with some of the pool skills in Vancouver, she insisted on having him to her home to practice the skills in her pool, completely free of... More

We dove with Blue Wilderness Dive Adventure based on previous reviews and we were not disappointed. Disclaimer: we dove the week of 2 Sep, tourism has definitely slowed, and thus my wife and I basically had a personal guide since we were the only two signed up for the dive. Their shop is close to the Hilton Waikaloa and they... More

I just got back from the big island and this is the first time that I have dove with Blue Wilderness. The dive boat was quick and smooth. The staff was fantastic and gave us a great dive! They are the cheapest dollar wise on the big island and they also give a great military discount. I highly recommend this... More

I recently travelled to the Big Island of Hawaii and was fortunate to select Blue Wilderness Dive Adventures for the diving. I hate cattle boats - which is why I love Blue Wilderness - they only took out a small group of divers yet had a good ratio of dive masters to divers. On several of our dives, we had... More
