Ok there is no white sand beach here just a bunch of rude Hawaiian who think they own the place, drugs and booze are rampant along with roudie foul languaged Hawaiians that have a no Haole (whites) policy. A very disappointing picnic spot. The ocean is beautiful in spite of the ugly people.

it's clean and family oriented, very safe for children to swim.

As city parks go, this is absolutely gorgeous. It does suffer some for the number of people visiting. It is after all a park in a small city. But is has good amenities and it is a great place to enjoy a day among local citizens enjoying their beautiful places.

Small park with renovations going on so there was that orange plastic fencing all over the place. Pretty views though.

This was by far the best spot for snorkeling. Other spots are available and be sure to explore. We loved this spot. Went several days. You could walk right out, plenty of fish, sea turtles, and shallow safe for kids, easy in and easy out access for snorkeling beginners to expert.

like many other beach parks throughout the east side of Hawaii. Good fishing, rocky-bottomed, little to no comfort amenities present

This is but one of a string of "Beach Parks" along this beautiful coastline...there are many pristine pools with Green Sea Trtles and right now in January we have Whales offshore..
