Lots of wall art and case after case of firearms. Not too much "buffalo bill" history. I was disappointed. Gift shop is pricey due to the fact that this a not for profit site.

This museum is a gem! One of the best layouts I have ever seen. Actually five museums in one. The Native American, Western Photos were fab plus the greatest gun displays I have ever seen.
They had an awesome firearms collection if you are a firearms buff this is a must do on your bucket list. There were five museums in one. It was a very informative and entertaining museum.
Great place, fun exhibits. Truly an experience. Nice when not too crowded. There are 5 different areas: art, guns, natives, Buffalo Bill, and yellowstone. Each takes several hours to go through, more if you take your time. It is well worth taking your time to do so, too. There are lots of places to sit and look, and many videos and shows....

We spent a couple hours and could have spent more. One of the best museums I have been to and so interesting. Not only is there a large gallery on Buffalo Bill, but the Plains Indian gallery, Firearm gallery and western gallery. You admission fee covers two days and you would definitely enjoy 2 days.

Some museums can be boring, but definitely not this one. Allow at least 2 -3 hours to really see this. One section shows many of the animals roaming Yellowstone in amazingly life like settings. Another section shows the life of Buffalo Bill with extremely interesting pictures, items and stories about his life, family and Wild West Show. If you only...

so be sure to keep your receipt and get your hand stamped. I thought the admission was a bit steep but there is so much to look at here. Even two days isn't enough to see everything. There are 4 different museums in the building. I thought the most interesting was the Buffalo Bill exhibits. So much history and amazement...

We have three kids (3,5,6) and there was almost too much information to take in while keeping them in order. One minor annoyance was the number of security guards who always seemed to be watching over us the whole time. Other than that, the people were very friendly. There are some activities for the kids to do--especially in the Yellowstone...

There were 7 of us on this trip to Wyoming. Three were my husband's family visiting from Germany to the USA. All enjoyed the museum and so many things to see in the area. Rent a car and travel around Wyoming.
