We have been on brewery tours before, but never one like this. Laid back, informative but presented in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. You get 4 tokens on arrival, and you are encouraged to have a beer while you are waiting, and get refills during the tour. Monkey Wheat was my personal favorite . Great old building too.

Neat old brick building houses this regional brewery. The beer is good. You get to have 4 6 ounce tastings as part of the tour. Our guide was knowledgable and funny. A good time and well worth the time.

An interesting tour by a very entertaining guide with beer included! Great value for money with beers along the way, souvenir glass, a voucher for a homebrand beer when dining out later - all delivered in a fun and friendly environment. Well worth it!

Our project team did an outing here for team building. We did the tour and drank the beer with some heavy h'orderves. The tour and the tour guide was fantastic! Learning about beer whilst drinking it worked for me. Love the little nuances of the small facility as well as the personable staff and the potential to say, "I knew... More

I've been on several brewery and distillery tours and this was by far the best. If you want serious beer making and discussion of science, this isn't the place. This tour is designed to entertain and inform. Much better than Miller IMO. Drink before, during (the guides do) and after the tour. Definitely can't miss if you're looking for something... More

lots of beers to throughout the tour, not just at the end. Funny guides, great sized beer samples, neat local history about the location, the stein, alpine house, Bucky brewer's history sliding into the Stein, fun times. Plus the Laverne and Shirley part was ridiculous. must. do.

Smart tour, intelligent references to music, world issues, and lit. Our tour guide pulled our group together made us laugh/smile throughout the tour. Laverne & Shirley completes the tour.

Okay, you can't tell me they don't look for stand up comics when hiring (our guide in fact was; comedy sportz) Josh was great and made a story we're telling our friends - this is a good time, but if you're a little sensitive, pass it up; the comedy can get a little colorful - nothing to fear if you... DO NOT MISS the Lakefront Brewery Tour. It is not free ($7) but you get excellent beer and a world-class, rolickingly entertaining tour. I had never had a Lakefront Brew but I am now a loyal customer because I love the people, the story of their business, and the value they deliver.
