The locals were so enthusiastic about this tour and visitor's center, we had to go. Be sure and take the guided tour, amazing. The long driveway into the center was beautiful, glad we took our motorcycle even though we needed to negotiate a gravel parking lot, no problem. Look UP inside the visitor's center, gorgous construction of wood and glass.... More

This was so interesting we spent more time than we had planned. Try to make it for one of the guided tour times. Bring a coat - its windy.

My husband and I decided to visit this after seeing reviews of it on **TRIPADVISOR**!! The personnel asked how we had found out about the facility, and we told them we had seen it *here*..they were delighted!! They need to have better signs...we would not have known about it if we had not seen it on TA!! IF you plan... More

An opportunity to get a close-up look at some very interesting technology; Wild Horse is about 15 miles out of town. it is an excellent choice for a clear day, as the view is excellent. Sited on the top of a high ridgeline, the view is excellent. We also saw some elk on the drive up to the top.

That said, after getting lost, rerouting ourselves and getting great assistance from the great people at the center- it was completely worth the efforts. It is up a windy road, on a hill, with magnificent views in all directions. The not-useful GPS portion made... More

What a surprise, but it's WINDY here! Bring a jacket so you'll be comfortable on the tour. We were able to join a tour in progress and learned a lot. The guide was very helpful in answering questions. You get to go into one of the turbine towers on the tour. The visitor center was good, not great. But this... More

Good tour. Great view. We had to wear hard hat and safety glasses. Great photo ops!
