Liked -Well marked paths through the woods, along the coast, hunting for fossils and having fun with the grandchildren!
Very nice state park. Lot's of trails that lead to interesting sights. My family especially liked the fossil beach. This park offers a lot of educational opportunities and is suitable for both teens and young children. Only open during the day, no camping available. Has a small but interesting discovery center and clean bathrooms. Some very nice scenic views as... More
This state park a few minutes from Colonial Williamsburg is the perfect place relax, unwind and get some fresh air and exercise. Large parking lots, kid and dog friendly and great trails that are more than flat walking. I will be going back!!
This place is beautiful all year long! Things to do for all ages, parks, trails, volleyball net, fishing, learning. Great place for special events! Our family visits this place quite often to enjoy the scenic views of the river and the nature!
Wonderful walking trails...one very easy, one moderate. LOTS of parking and most importantly, NEVER crowded. You should definitely check it out for a relaxing and mind-clearing nature experience!

We drove through, although we did not stop, but wished we would have had time. Beautiful park along the York River and worth at least the drive. Better if you could stop, relax, and enjoy.
