A good contemporary museum but lacks personality. Myself and other staff members took a group of around 30 disabled adults with varying disabilities and varying ages and it was hard to get them to enjoy the exhibits. We personally found the small store inside was the best part. The staff were very hellpful but it was hard to keep consentration...

The museum was a very enjoyable experience. There were three exhibits in the main area and they were all very interesting and well curated. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.
This is a great little museum. The exhibits are always fresh and interesting. I really love the Chihuly light in the atrium. It would be a great room to host a wedding or other formal event.
From the size of the building and the fact that the city does not have any other major museum, I was looking forward to visiting this MOMA. Except for a magnificent Chuilly chandelier and some pieces from the currently closed Chyrsler Museum (due to renovations)--Red Grooms, Chuck Close, William Wegman, most of the exhibits in the museum were very minor...

I love coming here. They had an excellent Warhol exhibit this past summer even including a locally owned piece. The exhibits all are interesting and expose visitors to things they wouldn't normally seek out.
We live here and we have gone to the Contemporary Art Center for a number of events. They always have fresh exhibits by interesting artists. The staff is always helpful and knowledgeable. They also offer art classes for young and old that are well priced. My children have attended and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
The MOCA surprises visitors with its excellent collections and shows. The exterior of this non-beach-like building give a clue as to what will be encountered inside - a nice melding of interior and exterior design and space. The quality of the work is unmistakeable and MOCA has become a well known art destination.
There's a lot going on at this venue! The contemporary art is enjoyable if you just want somewhere to spend an afternoon, but consider all of the special events and classes that are offered. We're on their mailing list and we always hear about wine tastings and art viewing, or their photography classes, etc. I took a Glass Jewelry class...

This is a beautiful building with an extremely small collection. There were some exhibits that were worth while from artists whose work I've never seen any where else, so from that perspective it was worth the trip. If you have an extra hour in your itinerary then make the trip here.
