Parking is a major problem. Nice family shops and local restaurants. Clean but not much nightlife.

40 years of Broadway quality theatre right here in Roanoke.The Valley's only Professional Live Theatre! Year-round season with two stages in Center in the Square. Family Entertainment on the Trinkle Main Stage (seats 400), Cutting-Edge Theatre on the Waldron Stage (seats 100.) This season see comedies such as the SantaLand Diaries by David Sedaris, and a new play adaptation of Mark Twain's Diaries of Adam and Eve; our terrific holiday show, The Christmas Cup; dramas-God's Man in Texas, and our new play festival; and musicals such as SchoolHouse Rock Live!, Barry Manilow's Copacabana and our 40th anniversary bash Starlight and Showbiz: The Best of MMT. By now you may have heard about Mill Mountain Theater closing down, and perhaps you said to yourself: "Ah, that's too bad. I should have gone to the theater more."
