Love these caves - been several times now and they never get old. Unlike others, the guides leave plenty of time for you to go at your own pace, take pictures and spread out from the group. At quieter times you can easily find yourself alone in huge caverns. There are no restrictions on photography and the caves themselves are... More

This is well worth a visit if you can take the 13EUR (Mar 2013) entry price. It was much larger inside than I had expected. I really enjoyed my visit as the formations are amazing. The guide asked us which languages the group spoke at the start and gave us the Spanish, German and English versions with ease. Lots of... More

Visited the caves and arrived just as three coaches were also there. Waited 30 minutes for a smaller party which was helpful as we could take our time and the guide spoke to us in English as well as to the Spanish tourists. Good paths in the caves but plenty of steps which the guide stated totalled 400. The lighting... More

We had already visited Drach so went to Arta for a change. I did not expect the massive staircase to get out. I thought it would be a gentle meander upwards once you were in - HOW WRONG WAS I!! It is well worth a visit if you are up for it but no good for anyone with walking difficulties.

We had the good fortune to go when it was empty so we had the guide just for the two of us. If you are into this sort of thing then prepare to be amazed. There are quite a few steps so be prepared but if you can make it then do so, it's worth the effort. Even if you're... More

We visited these caves in July 2012 and they are worth a visit, the surrounding scenery is stunning outside of the caves, you are taken on a guided tour so you cannot really hang around inside the caves, it takes about 30 to 45 mins to walk around inside. We preferred these to the Caves of Drac which are also... More

OKAY, it's a cave and you walk underground... the guide tried to be energetic and flashed his torch this way and that. I have to say the cheesiest was close to the end, I shall not spoil it for those who haven't been but lets say I got confused as to with country I was in and WHY!?!

These Caves are amazing! Worth a visit! Can get there by boat or bus or car! A bit of a climb if you go by boat as you need to climb up the hill to get to the road, but its all clearly marked.
