We walked on a lovely Sunday morning from Agerola to Positano. It took us about four hours with lots of photo stops. I don't have bad knees but the thousand steps down to the beach were a killer. If given the chance to do it again, I would hike UP.

I took the 1 hour bus from Positano to Amalfi then another 30 minute bus to Agerola. All on overcrowded, standing room only buses. Then it's a nice stroll (not really a hike) back to Positano. Frankly, we named it the Path of a really nice guy rather than any Gods. The views were ok and any little kid could... More

Views, walk the route, bus ride back via Amalfi - check the timetables to be sure. Take water although you can find a fountain above Praiano...

We walked this from Bomerano to Positano and enjoyed every part of it. After catching the Agerola bus from Amalfi to Bomberano (and surviving), we started from the Bomerano piazza. The trail is well marked and whilst there are some decent drop offs, the trail provides spectacular views along the Amalfi coastline. You also walk past remote villages and terraced... More

Absolutely spectacular. We've done this hike 7 times, looking forward to our 8th in a couple weeks. You ABSOLUTELY want to start the hike Bomerano di Agerola and walk towards Nocelle/Positano. There are 2000 stairs between Nocelle and Positano, so you definitely want to be hiking DOWN those in the heat of summer. Once you reach Positano, find your way... More

We did the hike from Bomerano to Nocelle It was absolutely breathtaking. I have never seen anything like it. Definitely include a day for this in your itinerary. The path is clearly marked and easy to follow. Bring water, food and sunscreen and start early in the morning if you can to avoid the heat in the afternoon. STUNNING! At... More

Amazing views. 100's of lizards and Keith the Praying Mantis! Walked from Bomerano to Positano with 3 children aged 12, 9 and 5. The boys loved the adventurous side to this walk along paths that were very narrow at times and very close to the edge of the hill sides. They were a little weary after coming down the 1700... More

We easily did the trail with our 7 yrs old twins. We started in Bomerano and walked to Nocelle, about 3 hours of walking + stops for rest (not included in the 3 hours). Since we had a car, we left it in Bomerano and arranged with our hotel transport from Nocelle back to Bomerano (1 hour) for 60 Euro.... More

We started in Agerola, and hiked to the end. The terrain is varied, and is probably at the higher end of the medium difficulty range - mostly it was not hard, but there were a few places we had to scramble or climb. The vistas are beautiful, the trail nicely varied (cliffside, grottos, waterfalls, forest), and there are plenty of... More

I walked from Bomerano to Positano. The walk is undulating but has some of the best views anywhere. A real gem.
