I played this course in April. It was in super shape and had some beautiful holes. However, many of the holes run along the main road so you don't get the back in the wilderness feeling that I was looking for. Also, with such a big green fee they should have GPS on the carts or at least have a... More

Difficult and long course (Par 70), but in perfect condition. Vistas will wow you. Soft greens, but extremely fast. Trouble looms everywhere.

We played Oct. 20 2012. Although it was overcast and chilly, we had a great time. The course is beautiful and although challenging, it is fair if you play smart. I was mesmerized by all of the beautiful foilage and views and we truly enjoyed ourselves. There were a couple of downfalls, though, in my opinion. From hole 6 to... More

Golf at the Cascades in the fall is a walk in heaven. The course is manicured to perfection and the fall foliage on the mountains is breathtaking. The only weakness is no driving range.

The Cascades is simply a great golf course. You can complain that the 3rd hole is too short (but it is really difficult to par!) or that the cart path on the 12th is awkward (it is, but there is almost no place for it), but this is such a great course. You work hard to get on the green,... More

We've played alot of great golf courses including Pinhurst courses, Kiawah coures and Sea Island Ocean and Plantation courses. Next to Sea Island Ocean this was my favorite. Not a golf factory, beautiful scenery, variety of holes to make good use of all your clubs and the course is in great condition. Oh, pretty good value for money, relatively speaking.... More

This golf course lived up to every expectation. It was challenging, beautiful scenery, the staff friendly and the legend of Sam Snead is much alive at the Cascades. I started at 8am and was alone on the course until about the 6th hole. The Flynn design is a classic and can be unforgiving if you make the wrong club or... More

The course was challenging, but fair. Love the target on #9 located up in a tree just beyond the green. There is actually a bar and dining room for eats and drinks after the round.

Tough course but had a caddie, Graham who was wonderful... don't play in the wet dewey morning otherwise you need to add 1-2 clubs for distance.

A unique golf experience, I would highly recommend. You will play very memorable holes while enjoying the beautiful views. The price is a little steep (about $200) but you are playing a top 100 course. Enjoy!
