This is a nicely presented small complex of local shops selling a variety of items from saddles to one store that specialized in Confederate materials-books, flags, stickers, etc. Granny's Pantry was an excellent place for a variety of foods, many where they had tasting samples. There is a restuarant in the market which is a few miles south of Harrisonburg... More

All kinds of shops selling clothes Western Wear, army surplus, arts and crafts, bulk food stuffs, a grill and ice cream stand, astore specialized in home canned goods, etc. In the middle are some "husband chairs" and a display of some old Honda & triumph vintage motorcycles. Worth a couple of hours... More

Large but not overwhelmingly huge. There is a neat kitchen shop with really unique products (so much nicer than the typical strip-mall kitchen stores.). The bulk foods store has all kinds of candies, nuts, snacks, flour, honey, syrup, cereals, teas, baking items, handcrafted items, etc. The canned goods store is full of row after row of canned jellies and jams,... Most of this market has traditional country themed fare. There is a great kitchen gadgets store with a wide selection of products. But the best section of this market is the food store. There are bulk candies, pastas, and grains. The cheese selection was very good along with the jams and jellies.

What a great place! My husband loved The Country Canner and bought several items. We had to leave early as our son's football game finished early and were disappointed that they were not open on Sunday so that we could return and finish our shopping.

We visit the Shenandoah Heritage Market every year when in Harrisonburg. It's a mini-mall that has many things to offer. There is a shop with bulk foods and crafts. A large antique mall inside has a huge slection. Many other things including a store to buy home canned preserves and pie fillings etc that are very high quality. The highlight... More
