I traveled to Vermont for the first time with my boyfriend in Feb 2013. I can't so much speak to the trails as I am not much of a skier, however I took the Ski School 2 day lesson, which I found to be very helpful. Ski instructor was knowledge and patient. Folks in the ski rental shop were also... More

Skied 2 week days after Easter. Awesome 100 % coverage. Castle Rock was a challenge around the rocks and dirt, but for April;, amazing coverage. No lines off course. Skied too much. Thighs were on fire. The area gets small after 2 days of non stop but still a great area. One clear day could see Mt Washington like it... More

We went skiing for a long weekend from NYC and had a blast! Great on-mountain facilities, but I could see where it could get a little crowded on busier weekends. Overall, definitely recommend this mountain to all levels. We skied the bumps, some nice long cruisers and there was plenty of snow for a nice Spring weekend.

Sugarbush is the quintessential mountain resort. It offers a wide variety of terrain options for skiers of all levels. The instructors are awesome and lessons are available for beginners to pros like myself looking to perfect the bumps or practice back country jumps. Lift lines on the weekends move really quickly and brand new facilities at the base lodge area... More

Some may complain that Sugarbush doesn't have enough of the upgraded super-capacity lift systems of other mountains but I think that's what makes this mountain great; trails aren't packed with people. There's varied terrain and several little areas where you can ski a few runs and then easily get over to another area.

Lovely staff. The people teaching my children were very pleasant as were those people running the lift lines.

Clearly the new under 30 cheap pass has gotten out. Spring mid week powder day and you have 20 min lift lines and 1/4 mile walk from the parking with no shuttle. This is a wonderful old ski area which has lost focus on the skier e pertinence and instead concentrated on the real estate. Too bad!

The only downside is that the lifts to the very top of the peaks are old and slow. However the long top to bottom runs are worth it. The staff is friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back. I also like that Sugarbush is rather remote. No night life - its rural and not busy!

The lodge is beautiful and the mountain so much more. Great family atmosphere for everyone to ski. I found the service good, I don't ski but everyone seemed to be loving the slopes!

My wife and I had pre-purchased a quad-pass in the fall, which is 4 tickets that can be used anytime during the season for $199. This is a great deal considering weekend passes are now $89 per person per day. We were fortunate in that it had dumped about a foot of new snow in the previous 3 or 4... More
