Okemo is a great ski area - wonderful for families, but lots of challenging terrain, too! And it is super - UNCROWDED during the week! We ski there all the time!
Okemo is one of the finest ski areas you will ever find. It has fantastic snow-making and grooming, great people who want you to come first, and a wonderful nearby town to relax in.
I had my daughter and grand-daughter spend the afternoon at the Adventure Zone at Okemo Mountain. They were treated exceptionally well by the staff which added to a great time. My grand-daughter had the best time on the coaster zipping down the mountain. They both went up the climbing wall but my daughter wasn't as adventurous as her daughter to... More
Took the zipline adventure today. Awesome! Two guides with six guests was just the right ratio. we took 7 ziplines and 3 rappels. The guides really make it fun by giving you different positions to try while you zip. You don't have to do it their way, but being daring is part of the fun. The safey equipment is redundant... More
The Adventure Zone at Okemo Mountain offers a number of family activities but our group only did 3: Timber Ripper; Amp Energy Big Air Bag and Sawyer's Sweep Zipline Tour. The 2 hour Sawyer's Sweep Zipline Tour starts with a ground school where you are fitted with a harness and then becomes taught the basic safety procedures and techniques for... More
All of our family was in Ludlow for a vacation and we all went to Okemo. Most of them rode the Timber ripper from the oldest kid in our family to our great grandson who is only 3. They also played mini-golf and Gramma and Grampa had a nice relaxing place to sit and watch them and listen to the... More
The things i like about Okemo is its range for most people and the restaurant coverage on the mountain. I prefer a more all around experience with food, good food situated around the mountain, intermediate to expert terrain, a mountain where kids can roam comfortably, and the ability to relax when you want. For the total snow hounds looking for... More
Have been going to Okemo for the last 10 years. We have a house near Bromley, and 10 of us purchased the "Value Plus" season pass, which gave us access to Okemo and Stratton. We would ski Okemo on Saturday and Stratton on Sunday. This yeark, Okemo and Stratton, for whatever reason, did away with the pass. A "blackout" season pass... More
Unfortunately, Okemo and Stratton have parted ways in providing this benefit however, this does not detract from the great snowmaking, grooming, and the okemo difference that we will continue to offer. We hope that you will reconsider your decision, but if not thank you very much for your support through the years. More
I remember whan Okemo was a nice family run operation. It is now part of a conglomerate that has raised the prices every year so I will no longer go there. It is a popular place with great skiing but just not for me. And I am a local.
Tim and Diane have owned Okemo for the past 32 years. The Mueller's strive to maintain one of the best Vermont ski resorts while keeping with that same personal touch. As prices continue to increase in today's market, Okemo tries to maintain reasonable rates while continuing to provide great snow surface, grooming, and the Okemo difference. With everyday price increases,... More
My girl liked the drive up the back hills and the hike to the summit and sit on the ski lift without having to be bogged down in snow equipment. Sometimes you forget that the mountains are just as fun in the spring as they are in the winter with 60" of base powder!
