“Indoor area water too cold! Not ready for prime time.”

Went to park today (March 28th), very disappointed with the indoor water temperature, it was unbearably cold. Luckily they had a heated swim up bar which our family stayed in the entire time. By reading the last review im hoping i could return the tickets... im supposed to go tomorrow, that water better not be cold!!!! .... i could of save the money, i wish i read the reviews before buying the tikets......... :(

I hope you enjoyed the warm 80+ degree water during your stay with an air temperature that is also kept in the low 80's!! Family-friendly, safe and fun are what Schlitterbahn Beach Resort is about and during Spring Break we enforce those same rules to make sure we are able to accommodate and exceed the expectations of our Guests. “Worst stay in my entire life.”

The facility is nearly brand new, in fact the outdoor portion is not completed. However, the layout of the indoor portion makes no sense and is potentially hazardous. The hotel is great. Kids area is wonderful. But.....when they say indoor and heated dont think it will be warm. The only thing heated was the resort pool and it was outdoors. We went in the fall in the evening. The outdoor temperatures were quite warm, so I can't speak as to how warm the air temperatures are inside in the winter. Thanks for visiting the new year-round, indoor, heated waterpark! I am glad you enjoyed yourself and we hope to see you again real soon. The air temperature is usually kept around 80 degrees and the water temperature is kept in mid 80's for Guest comfort. The palapa swim-up bar water temperature is kept in the 90's.... More

Such fun! We were there when the outdoor park was open (didn't know there was an indoor park) for the season, only on weekends, and had a ball! Our almost 3 year old and 6 year old had so much fun and we (parents) did, too! It was all part of vacation, so cost wasn't a huge factor in it... More
