There are not that many of these old bridges around and if you have not taken the kids (young and old) to walk across the bridge this would be an excellent location if you are close to New Braunfels. Very pretty and we ate there for the atmosphere and the great view. Can be a romantic place to go which is not a far ways from Austin or San Antonio.

This ol' Bridge holds years of history...walk and cross the Guadalupe River. Stop and reflect on the past and goin' to work at the Cotton Mill....bringing in the crops of the area and dream a little dream for the future.

We visited the bridge based on reviews. It was okay, not really anything I wanted a picture of. We only stayed a few minutes. Didn't really think it was worth the trip.
