Schlitterbahn is a must-do for anyone visiting an area that has a park. We visited the one in New Braunfels and had a great time. We went on a Thursday and the park had a very light crowd. I had read some of the reviews about trash and dirty areas but didn't experience that at all on our visit. The... More

If you like waterparks, then you gotta do this one before you die because it is the biggest and baddest of them all. The main location of this famous waterpark (they now have several across the state) is actually two different parks in one, with different attractions at each. Another cool thing (literally) is that they use the river water... More

Schlitterbahn is the ultimate water park. The rides are awesome, the water is cold and there are a lot of trees to provide that much needed shade. However...it is sooo crowded. The wait for rides sometimes can be over an hour. There's no way you can ride all the rides you want to in one day. Also, the park could... More

Lov no fees other than entry(except the bungee). Sooo many things to do for all ages. There are a ton of things for toddlers. Its almost like each age has its own piece of the park. Bring your own food/drink, its allowed. No glass! Food was a little pricy. So there are 2 parks in 1. Each needs a full day!... More

We went as a group with friends and we had a blast! The original Schlitterbahn is older and you can tell, but overall the park was great. Appreciated the tram between the parks and the picnic areas through out so you can bring your own food. It is definitely an all day activity and everybody gets a good nights sleep... More

Lifeguards were napping on the stand and beer bottles littered the hot tub and pools. Under a slide was an used diaper. The park hires international workers who could care less about customer service. These workers do not practice hygiene and do not pay attention to swimmers. Not worth the hype.

Schlitterbahn New Branfels is the best water park in the world. There is four islands that you can choose from (Surfenburg, Tubenbach, Blastenhoff, and The Orginal Schlitterbahn) The Water park is so big that you have to take a bus tram from Surfenburg to the Orginal Schlitterbahn. Schlitterbahn New Branfels also has the big 3 (in Blastenhoff) the rides are... More

My grandkids LOVE the waterpark, and look forward all year to their adventure there. I have to tear them away when it is time to leave because there is so much for them to do and they have a fabulous time.

If you and your family love water parks, this is a must go. Schlitterbahn ( German for Water) uses natural water for their attractions. You don't have to deal with all that chlorinated water that other parks use. My two teenagers and I went in August. We had a blast! We decided to visit Schlitterbahn as my son's graduation present.... More
