Lovely Pub called Jags. Down n the Patch, family run business Lovely people from Scotland, food excellent , everything home Cooked. Well worth a visit

The Patch used to be a busy bustling area frequented by many, in reality, it now needs bulldozing and staring again as it is very very tired. Some good bars still there though, namely The Brewers Droop, The Dubliner, The Drunken Duck and The Gaelic Corner

From Shannigans to the Dubliner (in that order) is a really good night out with live music in both bars and the Dubliner going on into the early hours - always a good craic

This is a lot quieter than veronicas, and has some great restaurants and bars. Better for older couples and groups.

too many sellers pushing goods. all night long. if you do not like smoking or smell of smoke do not go there. You will leave with all your clothe smelling of smoke ash.

Can be a little worn in some of the pubs but good variety of choice Liked the pubs nearer the top Disliked some of the run down parts

Get down to the Drunken Duck, great night and drinks are cheaper than most places. The guys who do the singing have been there for about 50 years but they are still very funny and quite talented.

safe area at night suited us plenty of bars and restaurants clean and tidy area with no hassle always had one in bobs bar friendly staff.
