The owners are a very nice retired couple that love to give a personal guided tour. We spent about an hour with the wife before her husband came in. They are both very friendly and knowledgeable about their clocks, maps and surveying tools.

The museum was established and is run by a local couple who have collected a really diverse and interesting assortment of clocks, measuring and surveying tools, and early calculators. If you are a technology buff or just like local history, this is worth a stop. The owner-curators are gracious and informed.

This is so awesome. The people who own this little museum are the most kind folks you will ever meet. The museum is completely free. You can make a small donation if you like. The museum has many clocks and maps of all time periods.

This place is really special and it is run by two of the nicest senior citizens who will tell you more than you ever imagined about clocks, watches, surveying equipment and much more. Just a great place to spend thirty minutes while in downtown Jefferson.

Definitely worth checking out if you are interested in the geographic history of Jefferson, surveying, maps, the salt & pepper collection from the wife and her aunt, or past ways of measuring time, etc. The couple that run the museum are filled with knowledge and love to share what they know! My favorite highlights included learning why Jefferson is shaped... More

The spacious building is basically a showcase for the personal collections of maps, clocks, and salt-and-pepper shakers amassed by the owners. There are much more interesting places to visit in town.

We almost didn't go in, but so glad we did! The museum is full of some pretty amazing history and we had very educated and interesting hosts, who are also the owners. If you visit Jefferson, this is a stop you MUST make. You will talk about it for months, we still do! Looking forward to going again

This free museum is great! I was taken here by a friend. I did not think it would be of interest. Was i surprised! In my opinion, inch for inch, it's the best little museum in Jefferson. The tour guides are the owners who acquired all of the items on display, and they are very knowledgeable about each item displayed.... More

We almost didn't go in because it seemed so small, but the people were so sweet and informative. It is also free.
